Periodontal Associates has been serving the Harrisburg and Hershey areas for more than 30 years, providing state of the art periodontal and dental implant services to thousands of patients. Our doctors are members of the American Academy of Periodontology and have had extensive specialized training in the areas of periodontal disease and dental implants. Our expert team is committed to providing each patient with individualized attention, insuring their surgical and administrative needs are met as efficiently and smoothly as possible.
Doctors
Dr. Ross E. Kline
Dr. Kline graduated, locally, from Central Dauphin High School in 1976. He is a 1980 college graduate of University of Pennsylvania & attended University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. From 1984-1989 he practiced general dentistry in the Harrisburg & Philadelphia areas. Dr. Kline finished his periodontal specialty training at The Manhattan Veterans Administration Hospital in 1991 and has served as a faculty member at University of Pennsylvania, NYU School of Dentistry, and Temple Dental School. He has served as a past President of the Harrisburg Area Dental Society and of the Middlesex County Dental Society in New Jersey. He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, and Harrisburg Area Dental Society.
Dr. Kline enjoys spending time with his family and playing tennis. He also serves on the board for the Jewish Home in Harrisburg.

Dr. Michael Vener
Dr. Vener has resided in the Harrisburg area since 2009. He received his Bachelor of Health Sciences from Lock Haven University in 1994 and his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1999. Following completion of his dental degree, Dr. Vener joined the US Navy where he served as a general dentist, both state-side and overseas. In 2003, he pursued advanced training in Periodontics and implants through a three-year surgical residency at the Naval Post-Graduate Dental School, receiving both his Periodontics certificate and a Master Degree in Health Sciences from George Washington University in 2006. Dr. Vener left active military service in 2009 but has continued his affiliation with the US Navy Reserves. He currently serves a senior dentist for a local unit and as the Navy Reserves Periodontics specialty leader.
Dr Vener is Board Certified in Periodontics and Implant Surgery and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He is also a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, and the Harrisburg Area Dental Society, where he has served as a past president.
On a personal note, Dr. Vener enjoys being with his family and friends, engaging in a love of travel, reading and outdoor activities of all kinds.
